SDL MAME New Version

For those of you who haven’t experienced the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator that is MAME, you are truly missing out. It’s an amazing emulator that does a great job at emulating all the old school arcade games from days past. However, please be aware that this particular version is a console version of MAME. You will need to use terminal or a graphical front end program. Here is a good site for how to set up SDL.

Changes in this version :

“NOTE: These builds will only work on OS X 10.6(Intel) or 10.5 (PPC) and above.” – does this mean 10.5 Intel users won’t be having any arcade fun?

  • 1) Up to date with baseline 0.134u1 (RB)
  • 2) Fixed MinGW compile issue (Malice)
  • Home Page for SDL MAME

    Download SDL MAME

P.S. An easy out for the new computer user would be to go download MAME OSX. It’s out dated, but still works great.

    About Mac Emulators
I am an Old School gamer with roots in emulation and gaming. I love video games, but mostly I love the old ones from our past. Emulation is a way to experience all these old games on your personal computer.
