Tether your Android Phone For Free, No Root, With your Mac

I recently rooted my new Droid 3 and when I went looking for Tether programs and found this one. This one however requires no root so, I figured I’d share it with ya’ll. Clockwork, the same folks behind Clockwork Mod, has a great tether program. You need 10.6 or above. You can download both the Tether program for your Mac and the Android APK (app) file from the Box File Widget on the right hand side of this blog. An Arcade cabinet for your iPad

So you’ve got your emulators running on your iPad but do you have the perfect way to play them? Now you can with the iCADE. What looks like a great retro style arcade cabinet slash controller for your iPad. I don’t own an iPad, but this makes me want to buy one. Check it out over at Think Geek.

Weather Plus Addon for XBMC

A while back I blogged about an addon (plugin) for XBMC. XBMC is a great GUI a lot of people use for HTPCs. There is also a version for Mac as well. Either way, this little addon has been updated and now sits at version 2.3.2 beta. Grab it from the Box File Widget or from their google code page. Cheers!

Build Your Own HTPC

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Johnny Mota over at Rave Pubs and discussed HTPCs and Media Centers. We had the big debate over paying for an over priced corporate piece of plastic, or building a solid machine yourself for much fewer duckets. Check out the full article over at Rave Pubs. My New Toy

This is my new Droid 2 Global with my newer toy, the Game Gripper. The Game Gripper is a D-Pad overlay for a cell phone keyboard.
